- Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date.
However, website content is provided for general information purposes and may be changed or updated from time to time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information on our website does not constitute professional advice or a contractual commitment to provide a particular product or service.
- Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Beebug website, including text, graphics, branding, logos, software and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Beebug Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and print website content for your own legitimate business or personal use.

Our website may contain links to websites and services operated by third parties.

Google SSO Product Terms
- Google Single Sign-On
Beebug provides Google Single Sign-On to allow authorised users of participating organisations to access certain Beebug services, including our helpdesk system, using their organisation’s Google Workspace account.
Google SSO is used as an authentication mechanism to confirm your identity and associate you with the appropriate organisation and user account within Beebug’s systems.
- Using Google SSO
You may only use Google SSO to access Beebug services where:
- you are authorised to use the Google Workspace account;
- your organisation is authorised to use the relevant Beebug service; and
- your organisation has enabled or permitted access to the service.
You must not use another person’s Google account or attempt to access a Beebug account that you are not authorised to use.
Your organisation may control your Google Workspace account and may withdraw or restrict your access.
Beebug may also suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the security of our systems, our customers or other users.
- Information Provided by Google
When you use Google SSO, Google authenticates your account and provides Beebug with limited information necessary to identify you.
Details of the information we receive and how we use it are set out in our Privacy Policy:
https://www.beebug.co.uk/privacy/
Using Google SSO for authentication does not give Beebug general access to your Google Workspace environment or the contents of services such as Gmail, Google Drive or Google Calendar.
- Google Services
Google SSO relies on authentication services provided by Google.
Google’s services are operated independently of Beebug and are subject to Google’s own terms, policies and availability.
Beebug cannot guarantee the continuous availability of Google’s authentication services and will not be responsible for an inability to access a Beebug service where this is caused solely by the failure or unavailability of Google’s systems.
Microsoft SSO Product Terms
- Microsoft Single Sign-On
Beebug provides Microsoft Single Sign-On to allow authorised users of participating organisations to access certain Beebug services, including our helpdesk system, using their organisation’s Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Entra ID account.
Microsoft SSO is used as an authentication mechanism to confirm your identity and associate you with the appropriate organisation and user account within Beebug’s systems.
- Using Microsoft SSO
You may only use Microsoft SSO to access Beebug services where:
- you are authorised to use the relevant Microsoft account;
- your organisation is authorised to use the relevant Beebug service; and
- your organisation has enabled or permitted access to the service.
You must not use another person’s Microsoft account or attempt to access a Beebug account that you are not authorised to use.
Your organisation may control your Microsoft account and may withdraw or restrict your access.
Beebug may also suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the security of our systems, our customers or other users.
- Information Provided by Microsoft
When you use Microsoft SSO, Microsoft authenticates your account and provides Beebug with limited information necessary to identify you.
Details of the information we receive and how we use it are set out in our Privacy Policy:
https://www.beebug.co.uk/privacy/
Using Microsoft SSO for authentication does not give Beebug general access to your Microsoft 365 environment or the contents of services such as Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams or Microsoft Calendar.
- Microsoft Services
Microsoft SSO relies on authentication services provided by Microsoft.
Microsoft’s services are operated independently of Beebug and are subject to Microsoft’s own terms, policies and availability.
Beebug cannot guarantee the continuous availability of Microsoft’s authentication services and will not be responsible for an inability to access a Beebug service where this is caused solely by the failure or unavailability of Microsoft’s systems.
Online Service Terms
- Access to Beebug Online Services
Certain Beebug online services are only available to users associated with organisations that have an appropriate service relationship with Beebug.
Being able to sign in to a Beebug service does not itself create an entitlement to receive services from Beebug.
The services available to you are determined by the arrangements between Beebug and your organisation.
Where Beebug has a separate contract, service agreement or other written agreement with your organisation, that agreement will take precedence over these Terms in relation to the provision of those contracted services.
- Account Security
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect the security of the account you use to access Beebug services.
You must not knowingly:
- allow another person to use your account;
- share authentication credentials;
- attempt to circumvent security controls;
- access information that you are not authorised to access; or
- attempt to impersonate another user.
If you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorisation, you should notify your organisation and Beebug as soon as reasonably possible.
- Acceptable Use
You must not use Beebug’s online services:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or information;
- to introduce malicious software or harmful code;
- to interfere with the security or operation of our systems;
- to impersonate another person;
- to deliberately submit false or misleading information; or
- in a manner that could reasonably cause harm to Beebug, our customers or other users.
- Availability
We take reasonable steps to maintain the availability and security of our online services.
However, we do not guarantee that our website or online services will always be available without interruption.
Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, security requirements, third-party service failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
- Suspension or Termination of Access
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to a Beebug online service where:
- your organisation is no longer entitled to use the service;
- your account is no longer authorised;
- we reasonably believe an account has been compromised;
- continued access presents a security risk;
- these Terms have been materially breached;
- we are instructed to do so by the organisation responsible for the account; or
- suspension is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect Beebug, our customers, systems or other users.
General Terms
- Privacy and Personal Information
We take the protection of personal information seriously.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Beebug collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, including specific information about our Google and Microsoft SSO integrations.
Our Privacy Policy is available at:
https://www.beebug.co.uk/privacy/
Where Beebug processes personal information on behalf of a customer, such as a school, the relevant customer will normally be the data controller and Beebug will process the information in accordance with its contractual obligations and the customer’s instructions.
- Third-Party Services
Our website and online services may interact with services provided by third parties, including Google and Microsoft.
Third-party services are operated independently and may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies and service arrangements.
We are not responsible for the operation or availability of a third-party service except to the extent that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the extent permitted by law, Beebug will not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including the failure or unavailability of third-party authentication, internet or telecommunications services.
These Terms do not replace or vary any separate contractual agreement between Beebug and a customer.
Where services are provided under a separate agreement with your organisation, liability relating to those services will be governed by that agreement.
- Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page and the date at the top will indicate when the Terms were last updated.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to any rights or requirements that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from these Terms.
