Beebug PCs for the Admin Network.
The school management system (SIMS, PASS etc.) places heavy demands on the PCs used by Admin staff. We therefore recommend a faster processor and more RAM for Admin PCs than those used by pupils and staff on the Curriculum network.
Beebug Mini Tower PC
The standard Beebug PC that we recommend for use on the Admin network is supplied in a high quality mini-tower case which is 180mm (w) x 380mm (d) x 360mm (h). The PC includes the very fast Intel Core i5 3.20GHz processor, 4GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, CD/DVD ReWriter, on-board sound, graphics and a fast 1Gbps network interface. It has microphone and sound sockets on the front and rear of the case. 2 USB ports are on the front with a further 2 on the rear.
The system is supplied with a licence for Windows 7 Professional, which is essential for use on a school network. This licence would cover the use of Windows XP if preferred.
A Logitech keyboard and optical mouse along with 12 months on-site warranty are included.
Costs & Options
Should you prefer a PC that is slightly less expensive we can supply the same system but with the Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93GHz processor or the Core i3 3.06GHz processor.
We can also offer a warranty upgrade to 3 year on-site if required.
Hard Drive Shortage
As a result of the terrible floods in Thailand there is now a world-wide shortage of hard drives.
The cost of the drives has substantially increased and they are very hard to obtain.
This will affect the price and availability of our PCs, so please contact us for the latest information.
